Day Family Reunion Mens Group - Washington D.C. / Maryland

Days Mens Group was established the summer of 2011. Our goal is to strengthen
our family mentally and financially. We are toying around with several ideas on how
to make this Day Family tradition keep on rollin strong. In the past years, the
number of family participation has dropped drastically, alot to do with a lack of
financial planning. We here in DC extend this group participation to all the Day
Family Men across the nation. There is no limit to where this could take us. Right
now we have $10-$20 a month voluntary dues (you may not have it to spare every
month, heck you may never have it to spare, but you can support in other ways). If
we can get 50-100 male participants, that is $500-$1000 a month, in a year coming
out to be $6000-$12,000. Plus any fund raiser and other family donations from the
women and kids. There is no limit to where we as a family can go with this venture.
Think BIG and go BIG, life is too short for anyone to miss even one family
gathering. We even had one of our families drive to DC from New Jersey just to
support the cause and buy a few dinners. Now thats what the Day Family has
always been about as far as I can remember. We have to take control, regain the
Day Family strength and spirit.
We started off with our first fund raiser, 1st Annual DC Day Family Fish Fry, it was a
complete SUCCESS!!
What do you say, never pay for another trip to see your family, that works for me....
